TRAILER INSPECTIONS
A trailer is like any other vehicle — a small investment in routine inspection will help keep it in great condition for longer. Routine inspections and roadworthiness tests allow us to identify problems before they lead to failure, so you can avoid an expensive repair as well as the unexpected downtime that comes with it.
Regular inspection prolongs the life of your trailer and helps it retain its value should you ever decide to trade it in. Taking steps today to maintain your trailer means taking care of small jobs which, if left unattended, would quickly become more costly problems.

Every trailer requires different maintenance needs. One of the benefits of working with GoTu Trailers is that we specialise exclusively in trailers. When it comes to putting together a trailer service plan for you, we can ensure your trailer gets a tailored service every time.

All trailers will receive a thorough visual inspection for signs of wear and tear, followed by a series of tests to confirm that the lights, brakes and other safety components are working. Our technicians will check that all components are lubricated and look for signs of leaks. We will inspect any wearable parts to confirm their condition and advise whether or not replacement is warranted. We will also inspect the breakaway system, suspension, hub and drum, and more.

HORSEBOX CLEANING
Keeping your horse trailer clean is a key part of horse ownership and needs to be done on a regular basis. It will help to prolong its life and keep your animals safe and comfortable as you transport them from A-B and back again.
​
OUR DEEP CLEAN TREATMENT will clear out any residue wet bedding, dropped feed and manure. This will prevent the floor of the horsebox or trailer from becoming damaged or weakened.
The power washer will cleanse the exterior roof, walls, and floors including the doors and ramp followed by the use of a bristle brush and special detergent.

The INTERIOR CLEANING will include floors, walls and entry partitions and will be re-scrubbed to eliminate stubborn muck and stains. Once the inside is looking spick and span, we will start the DISINFECTION PROCESS. We use a special disinfectant, which is designed for horseboxes and trailers.
When the interior is gleaming we will go over the exterior surfaces one more time. We will make sure all smaller FIXTURES AND FITTINGS i.e, tie rings, divider mechanisms latches, wheels and wheel arches, lights and windows are all done accordingly.

We also offer an optional finishing WAX SERVICE for your horsebox or trailer which will leave it sparkling clean and looking brand new.
​
TIP: a good wax every six months or so can help with the exterior’s longevity, especially if you have features sensitive to light such as vinyl graphics.

BESPOKE GRAPHIC DESIGN
We also offer custom horsebox and trailer vinyl design and fitting service. We can design, print, and fit high-quality equestrian graphics, lettering, logos, stickers and decals in cut vinyl. Vinyl decals are a great way to brighten up the exterior of your horsebox and to make it more easily recognisable while vastly improving its security.

All our vehicle graphics use high quality weather-proof external gloss vinyl, especially designed to remain fixed after correct fitment and cannot be power washed off like comparable cheaper options.
​
All our decals, stickers and graphics are computer die cut, with a large selection of designs available. This can be customised and printed on demand. We also offer free fitting service.
